Sellas Evo Non-Ablative Resurfacing Laser

Non-ablative resurfacing lasers offer reduced healing time, as opposed to traditional skin resurfacing lasers. Because of its advanced technology, rapid recovery of the new skin is made possible making it a much gentler process, with significantly reduced downtime. The procedure is most often applied as a series of treatments, with each treatment producing noticeable improvement in the quality of the skin.

WHO IS IT FOR?

The non-ablative resurfacing laser is a second generation of fractional lasers. It is an Erbium-Glass laser with patented Random Sprayed System that delivers non-ablative laser light beams to the skin to treat a wide range of facial flaws such as uneven skin tone, bumps, skin discolorations, pigmentation, acne scars, trauma scars, fine lines and wrinkles. This keeps the downtime and recovery time to a minimum while gently removing the outer layers of the skin that are damaged and unevenly pigmented, resulting in regeneration of new skin cells.

BENEFITS

This non-ablative resurfacing Erbium-Glass laser uses a high level of technology to ensure a safer, faster and more precise treatment. With patented Random Sprayed Beam System, it decreases the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation (PIH) and other side effects that sometimes occur after laser treatments.

PROCEDURE

Upon consultation and a thorough skin evaluation with the doctor, an individualised course of treatment will be designed for optimal results based on your skin condition. The procedure is well tolerated as a topical numbing cream (anaesthetic) will be applied prior to the treatment. This minimises discomfort during treatment.

EXPECTED RESULTS

The main advantage of this non-ablative resurfacing laser is its rapid healing time. Expect a full face rejuvenation with smoother, clearer, healthier and vibrant skin. Patients with scars and uneven skin texture can notice a gradual improvement with each treatment.

AFTER TREATMENT

The healing process varies between individuals. There may be minor irritation and redness, which typically lasts from 1 to 3 days. Most patients return to work the next day and light make-up can be applied. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight thereafter, and wear sunscreen of at least 30SPF when going outdoors.
